Orange Treat

Oranges, like other citrus fruits rich in vitamin C, a powerful, natural antioxidant helps body develops resistance against infectious agents. Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 2-3 tsp low-fat yogurt
  • 2 medium oranges
  • orange zest, optional


  1. In a bowl, whisk lemon zest, lemon juice and honey 
  2. Add yogurt and whisk thoroughly.
  3. Peel and separate the individual sections of the orange. Be sure to remove the membrane covering from each section. Cut the sections into thirds crosswise. Place in dessert bowl.
  4. Pour sauce over the oranges.
