Well-being has been defined from two perspectives. The clinical perspective defines well-being as the absence of negative conditions and the psychological perspective defines well-being as the prevalence of positive attributes.
Well-being.......the satisfactory state that someone or something should be in, that involves such things as being happy, safe, and having enough money_____________The British English definition(Macmillan Dictionary).
The World Health Organisation defined health as ‘A complete state of mental, physical and social well-being not merely the absence of disease’. 


What is BMI and how to calculate
This is a bench mark, tells whether you are at healthy body weight or not. This can be calculated simply dividing your weight by height square.
The ideal BMI for men is between 18-25 and 20-25 for women. Between 25-30 is also accepted, but beyond 30 is called obesity.


Fruit juices and benefits
Juices are definitely healthy option when compared to aerated drinks, which are popular these days. Apart from vitamins these gives minerals as well and this is even better if juice contains pulp of the fruit, means it has fibre in it.
The whole fruit is highly beneficial when compared to juices, where sweetener is greatly diminished and the fibre consumption is more. Another concern of fruit juice is it's added preservatives when you go for canned or packed ones and these preservatives can destroy various vitamins and minerals.

Healthy carbs or good carbs
Whole wheat, brown rice, legumes, nuts, seeds, brown sugar(unrefined) are in the healthy carbohydrates list, with high fibres are digested slowly, helping you feeling full and carries toxins out of your body and lowers the risk of heart ailments.
Unhealthy carbs or bad carbs
Foods such as White sugar(refined), white bread, white rice, sodas, pastries, jellies, bakery items. These are highly refined and processed foods may cause heart problems, diabetic and helps gaining weight.



Diet means a person's regularly consumed food and drink or it can mean regulating food intake to lose or gain weight. ________Yourdictionary.comIts is important to eat variety of foods that contain carbohydrates, protein, fats, nutrients, mineral salts and fibre in correct proportions to make a balanced diet.
Mediterranean DietThis particular eating style is popular because of it's health benefits and associated with reducing the risk of heart ailments. These foods are very tasty and lot of variety in it. Italian, Spanish, south of France, Greece and some middle eastern countries fall into this healthy eating style.
Vegan Diet or Vegetarian diet is of eliminating meat or poultry and in some cases eggs and dairy products as well. These are associated with reduced risk of heart deceases, are high in antioxidants, fibres vitamins and minerals. The key to eating healthy vegan food is in choosing colourful vegetables and fruits and including whole grains and beans in it.
Asian DietThis style of eating fits into healthy eating options and has a wide range of cultural differences. This includes whole lot of ingredients, spices gives you very good and tasty flavours to food lovers. And this kind of diet contains low-fat choices with very less dairy products.
Western DietMany people in the developed or some developing countries follows western dietary pattern. It includes red meat, sugary desserts, eggs, dairy products, high sugar drinks and processed meat and is associated with prudent diet, which is high levels of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, fish and poultry. The epidemiological studies states that it is correlated with elevated incidence of obesity.There are many varieties of diets are in use, which are weight control diet, detox diet, dairy free diet, low salt diets etc., to keep calories in control.
