Today i am in a mood to bake a egg less cake.Yes, this is egg less cake. Baking egg less cake is not so easy with out a binding and raising agent, so today i will show you how to bake a cake easily using microwave. A very few ingredients go into this making, the main players being milk and oil. A delicious cake in 5 minutes time. Here you go......
Egg less Cake Recipe
Preparation Time: 10 min
Baking Time: 5 min
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour(maida), sieved
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
3-4 tsp of melted butter or oil
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp lemon juice
lemon zest
1. Cream the sugar and milk until the sugar is completely dissolved.
2. Slowly add little flour/maida (about a tbsp) at a time and blend with the wet ingredients.
3. Add baking pwd and baking soda vanilla essence, butter and combine. Leave aside for 3 mts. You will find that bubbles appear.
4. Add lemon juice and lemon zest.
5. Pour the batter into a bowl and keep in the microwave for 5 min
6. Cool the cake for 10 min then overturn on to a plate.
if you want to frost the cake follow this vanilla butter icing recipe – Sieve 1 1/2 cups icing sugar and add to 1 1/4 cups white butter and beat until smooth using an electric beater. Add pinch of salt and 1 tsp vanilla essence and combine. Chill and and spread the icing all over the cake.
