Hi! I am Suneeta....mother of a grown up son Sourabh and got married to a humorous and lively person, Kishore. My journey of life started from Vijayawada....to Hyderabad......to Dubai.......to Birmingham now. Cooking was my last priority when i was young, though raised up with delicious dishes of my ammamma(grand mother) who was an amaaaaaaaazing cook making tasty recipes with very less ingredients to complex rich dishes. My mother's presentation skills are definitely an added value to the dish.
My husband likes tasty food and some awareness on health made me switched into this, and now I understand the value of healthy cooking and it's impact on the human body. Eating good food and doing exercise avoids the hospital bills is my fathers concept. I was influenced by these. I enjoy cooking all types of cuisines, though I practise vegetarian diet since 2009.
I was completely ignorant of cooking in the early days of my married life, used to cook idlies with upma ravva and vice-a-versa like any other newly married Indian girl, forgetting adding salt or chili powder to recipes. Adding these memories here is my husband's interest, who suffered with my cooking in absence of my grand mother. Today with out a taste test i can cook non-vegetarian recipes and vegetarian as well.
Presenting healthy cooking(avoiding deep oil fries) is the purpose of this blog and the food that comes from my home is simple and practical recipes. The fun of cooking is experimenting, so join me on this journey and give it a try.
