Garlic Bread

Garlic bread consists of bread topped with garlic and olive oil or butter. It is then grilled until toasted, or baked in an oven and is probably originated from Italy. The health benefit of eating garlic is its ability to fight heart disease. It helps prevent high cholesterol and high blood pressure.



Preparation Time: 5-8 min
Cook Time: 10 min
Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
1 baguette sliced downwards
5 Garlic finely crushed
5-6 tsp Parsley or Cilantro chopped
3-4 tsp Olive oil
1-2 Green chillies finely chopped
5-6 tsp Butter
6-7 tsp of mozzarella cheese
salt to taste

1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl except mozzarella cheese.
2. Preheat the oven 350 degree Fahrenheit for 10 min.
3. Add a dash of the mixture to the bread and place on a cooking tray.
4. Allow to bake in the oven for about five minutes, until lightly toasted.
5. Take out the tray and sprinkle with the grated mozzarella cheese. Keep it back in the oven and remove when the cheese has melted or the toast becomes golden brown.
