Various types of halwas are prepared in India depending on the region and the ingredients used in it. Gajar ka halwa, suji halwa are most popular among all. Halwa refers to sweet confections served across Asia and Eastern Europe.

1 cup grated apple
1 cup grated plums
1/2 cup finely chopped orange or pineapple (optional)
1 cup sugar (as per your taste)
1/2 cup milk
2-3 tsp butter
3-4 tsp of chopped nuts
1. Heat 1 tsp of butter in a heavy bottomed vessel.
2. Add fruits to it, let it cook for 7-8 min.
3. Add milk to it and cook it for another 8-10 min.
4. Now add sugar to it and in simmer cook for 10 min.
5. Lastly add the remaining butter and roasted nuts to it.
6. Let it come down to room temperature and enjoy the delicious fruit halwa.
