Carrot Halwa

Carrots are available in almost all the seasons, grow easily and provides nutrition to the body. As everybody knows it improves vision and prevents dry skin. It serves as anti-oxidant and helps slows down ageing.





Preparation Time: 20-30 min
Cook Time: 30 min
Cuisine: Indian
Ingredients:
2 cups grated carrot
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup milk
4-5 tsp ghee
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
10 roasted cashew nuts




1. Heat the ghee in the saucepan, add carrot to it and stir fry for about 8-10min
2. It should become tender and turn to darker in colour.
3. Then add milk to it, cook it for 10 min again until milk dries, stirring occasionally.
4. Add sugar to it and let it cook for another 3-4 min.
5. Add cardamom powder
6. garnish with roasted cashew nuts.
7. serve either cold or warm, tastes good.

always had a dream to cook carrot halwa but never got to learn but now can try on my own thank you so much ..........
